The Link

The Link is a multipurpose. 24,000 square foot instructional space located in the lower level of Perkins Library. It combines classrooms, seminar and study rooms with state-of-the-art technical facilities and a service desk staffed during regular business hours and late into the evening when students are completing academic assignments.

The Link represents the collaboration of several groups:

• Perkins Library
• Center for Instructional Technology
• Office of Information Technology
• Trinity College Technical Services

The site provides a place for instructors and students to experiment with the digital instruction backed by current AV technology and a technical staff to train users and assist with problems.

The service desk also functions as a public help desk for OIT and provides walk-in access to consultants who help with NetID problems, Duke Mail issues and other user service matters.
